Though Angelica has lived in many places in her short life, she has never drifted far from the sea. The ocean and it's impact on Angelica's life, specifically her childhood, was the first influence for this project. After exploring what it means to have a "home" and what that meant to her as a teenager, Angelica came up with the character Abby, and from there Abby's story took root. For this project, Angelica has taken a lot of visual influence from nature during this time of year. White tones, soft light, and warm sun.
